November 2002 Subiaco WWTP Odour Containment Covers and Ductwork
West Australian Water Corporation and Transfield-Burns and Roe Worley formed the Subiaco Alliance for the Subiaco Wastewater Treatment Plant Odour Control and Plant Upgrade Project. RPC has formed a Sub-Alliance with the Subiaco Alliance to design, manufacture and deliver the odour containment covers and ducting. The FRP work is valued at approx.$5.0m. The project is due for completion by the end of 2003.

November 2002 WMC Piping Spools
RPC has been awarded a $3.7m contract by WMC for the manufacture and spooling of piping for their Olympic Dam CuSX rebuild. The stringent requirements of electrical conductivity for control of static charge and fire resistant resins coupled with a very demanding manufacturing program presented an interesting challenge for the Newcastle factory. The project was successfully completed on time in March 2003 and within budget.
October 2002 Defence Equipment Refurbishment
RPC was engaged by Defence Materiel Organisation - Land Systems Division to carry out a Mid-Life Refurbishment program on the Floating Support Bridges (FSB's). The all aluminium 52 FSB modules and 16 FSB ramp modules have to be completely stripped, repaired, rekitted, repainted and returned to the Australian Army in 'as new' condition. The contract is valued at $2.5m and scheduled for completion December 2003. All work was satisfactorily completed 6 months ahead of schedule and within budget.
