September 2004 Army Trucks Roof RacksThe Department of Defence - Defence Materiel Organisation has ordered 740 special GRP roof racks for the Australian Army Mack Truck fleet. The racks will be built to the Army's own design and are scheduled for delivery over the next 12 months. | ![]() |
September 2004 - Changi Contract C3DKeppel Engineering has awarded a contract to RPC Singapore for the design, engineering, manufacture / fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of the FRP pipes, ducts, dampers, actuators and support systems for the Exhaust Air (EA) and Scrubber Recycling (SR) lines for the Changi C3D Liquids Module 2 M & E Works Contract. The contract follows an order in August for the FRP puddle flanges which are to be incorporated into the civil works. The total order value approaches $3.0m. Design work has begun in Australia and the project will be managed in Singapore. | ![]() |
September 2004 ANZAC Spherion Sonar Dome UpdateThe first of the 4 replacement Sonar Domes has been successfully demoulded and is currently being finished prior to delivery to Thales Underwater Systems. August 2004 Spherical Enclosure for Optical TelescopeEOS Space Systems has ordered components for a Keck Interferometer Outrigger Enclosure, a spherical composite cladding designed to protect an optical telescope from extreme weather conditions. July 2004 Sandgate WWTP DuctworkFollowing the success of Oxley WWTP Odour Control Improvement Phase 1 Brisbane Water Enviro Alliance (BWEA) has placed an order for GRP odour extraction ductwork for the Sandgate WWTP Nutrient Removal Upgrade. The order comprises the design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of the system and is due for completion in 2005. | |
June 2004 Oxley WWTP Stage 1 - UpdateWork progresses on schedule for the Stage 1 of Oxley Wastewater Treatment Plant. The inset photo shows the cover system for the Sludge Tanks. May 2004 EA Ducting order for CWRP C3C ContractUnited Engineers (Singapore) has placed an S$1.2 m order on RPC Singapore for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of FRP Exhaust Air Ducting System. The ducting is for their C3C Contract which is part of the Changi Water Reclamation Project. Design has begun and the project is scheduled for completion in March 2005. | |

March 2004 Enviro 04 ExhibitionRPC Technologies recently participated as exhibitors in the Enviro 04 Conference and Exhibition held at Sydney Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour. March 2004 Subiaco WWTP CompletionThe Subiaco WWTP Odour control has been completed in mid January several months ahead of schedule. In total 4 Primary Sedimentation tanks and 11 Aeration tanks have now been covered, smoke tested and handed over to the Water Corporation of WA. This early and successful completion is testament to the hard work and cooperation of the Alliance and sub-alliance partnerships. | ![]() |
