October 2005 Defence Materiel Organisation - Spall curtains
Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) has ordered an additional 50 sets of ballistic spall curtains for the M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers. Progressive delivery will be carried out till April 2006.
September 2005 Green Bridge - Draining Piping
John Holland has ordered FRP drainage piping for the Green Bridge - Brisbane. The Ø250 & Ø325 FRP piping will be manufactured in RPC's Batam works.
September 2005 Goro Nickel Project - Pulse Columns - Upper decanters
Subsequent to a previous order RPC received an order from Bateman Advanced Technologies for the supply, manufacture, assembly, testing and packing of 19 upper decanters for the pulse columns for the Goro Nickel Project. The components will be manufactured by PT RPC Indonesia to drawings supplied by the client.
September 2005 Goro Nickel Project - Pulse Column Components
RPC received an order from Bateman Advanced Technologies for the supply and manufacture of 'discs & donuts' for the pulse columns for the Goro Nickel Project. The components will be manufactured using the vacuum infusion process by PT RPC Indonesia to drawings supplied by the client.
July 2005 Ravensthorpe Nickel Project - Cooling Towers CW System
Ravensthorpe Nickel Operations have ordered the design, supply, manufacture and delivery to site of cooling water piping including pipe supports from the power plant to the cooling tower. Design and documentation will be undertaken by RPC Sydney office and PT RPC Indonesia will share the manufacture with RPC Kooragang Island. Pipe sizes range from Ø500mm to Ø1430mm with an assortment of fittings and supports.
June 2005 Keppel Merlimau PS Singapore - CW Piping System
Alstom Power Singapore Pte Ltd has contracted RPC Singapore to design, supply, manufacture, deliver and install seawater cooling piping for the Merlimau Power Station. The design will be carried out by RPC Technologies - Sydney and manufacture will be in the PT RPC Indonesia works. The pipeline incorporates Ø2650mm, Ø1800mm and Ø1000mm pipe and fittings with some sections buried and other in pipe racks. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2006.
May 2005 Perth Desalination Plant - Intake and Discharge Piping
The Multiplex-Degremont Joint Venture has contracted RPC Technologies to design, manufacture, supply and assist with installation of the main intake and discharge piping for the Perth Desalination Plant. The GRP piping comprises Ø2300 mm intake, Ø1650 mm discharge and Ø1200 mm diffuser sections. The client will install the piping sections and RPC will carry out the jointing which incorporates mostly 'bell & spigot' with double 'O' ring seal and locking chord and some 'butt-strap' and flanged joints.
May 2005 Sandgate & Oxley WWTP - Clarifier Launder Covers
PT RPC Indonesia will manufacture 8 sets of clarifier launder covers for Aquatec-Maxcon to be installed on the Sandgate & Oxley Waste Water Treatment plants in Queensland.
May 2005 20 klm Seawater Pipeline - Ravensthorpe Nickel Project
RPC Technologies has won a contract from Ravensthorpe Joint Venture (RJV) for the GRP section of the Main Seawater Pipeline feeding the Ravensthorpe Nickel Plant. The line consists of 20,000 metres of buried Ø650 PN 20 pipe in 12.75m lengths. Jointing is achieved through a 'bell & spigot' arrangement with double 'O' ring seal and locking chord. The joints are pressure tested in the anulus between the 'O' rings to ensure a complete seal prior to backfill. Subsequent order revisions to provide fittings and sweep elbows were added to the contract.
April 2005 Sikh Domes
The Australian Sikh Association has ordered the design, supply, manufacture and site installation of seven (7) Sikh domes (6 x Ø3.5m and 1 x Ø7.0m). The domes will be manufactured in the RPC Newcastle facility.
April 2005 BHP Hydromet Tanks
Following an earlier order BHP Billiton has ordered more equipment for their pilot plant at the Newcastle Technology Centre. The new order comprises additional FRP tanks, thickener/clarifier and launder. The tanks will be manufactured in the RPC Kooragang Island facility.

Ravensthorpe Joint Venture has engaged the services of RPC Technologies for the design input and co-ordination of the main seawater pipeline for the Ravensthorpe Nickel Project.
March 2005 BHP Hydromet Tanks
BHP Billiton Innovation has ordered five (5) GRP tanks for the Newcastle Technology Centre. The tanks will be manufactured in the RPC Kooragang Island facility.
March 2005 Panstar Dome
EOS Space Systems has ordered RPC to supply, manufacture and deliver cladding sections for assembly into a dome for weather protection of meteorological equipment. The dome is to be installed in Hawaii in February 2006.
March 2005 Ravensthorpe Nickel Project - Power Station CW System
Alstom Power (Aust) has placed an order for the design, supply, manufacture, delivery and installation of the power station cooling water system for the Ravensthorpe Nickel Project. The order follows on from the initial design works undertaken by RPC Technologies on behalf of Ravensthorpe Joint Venture. The order includes the CW piping and demineralisation line and pipe supports.
March 2005 Seawater Pipeline Replacement - Exxon Mobil
RPC Singapore has been contracted by Jacob Engineering to replace the seawater supply pipeline at Exxon Mobil plant in Singapore. The replacement project involves the design, supply, manufacture, shop hydro-test, and deliver pipe spools, and fittings by RPC Indonesia.
February 2005 Merrimac Wastewater Treatment Plant - Inlet Works
The Waterfuture Alliance (John Holland Water & Gold Coast City Council) has contracted RPC Technologies for the design, manufacture, delivery and installation of the Inlet Works odour containment covers and extraction ductwork. A combination of the Seven Hills, Newcastle and Batam works will manufacture the GRP & aluminium covers, ducting and structural steel supports, clamps and dampers.
February 2005 Ravensthorpe Nickel - GRP Thickener Tank Roof Covers
Outokumpu Technology Australia has placed an order for the design, manufacture and delivery to site for four (4) 20 m diameter self supporting GRP roof covers plus feed wells. The covers will be manufactured in "pie" segments at PT RPC Indonesia and assembled at ground level prior to installation on to the Thickener Tanks for the Ravensthorpe Nickel plant.
February 2005 Ravensthorpe Nickel - GRP Tank Covers
CBI Contractors, having won the order for the field erected tanks for the Ravensthorpe Nickel Project, have contracted RPC Technologies to design and supply 19 self supporting GRP cover assemblies. The covers ranging in size from Ø 5m to Ø14.8m are manufactured in "pie" segments at PT RPC Indonesia and shipped to site where they will be assembled at ground level by CBI to instructions provided by RPC. It is intended to lift the assembled cover in one piece and place in position onto each tank.
January 2005 Kingklip Sonar Domes
Thales Underwater systems Ltd (UK) has ordered 2 Spherion sonar domes for the Kingklip program. The project involves the manufacture of new tooling, the supply of the domes and accessories and shipment to France.
2005 Outer Suburban Cars (OSCAR) - Stage 2 for United Goninan
Following on from the success of OSCAR Stage 1 which comprised GRP interior panels, seats and lighting for 41 cars, United Goninan has placed an order for OSCAR Stage 2. Stage 2 comprises a further 81 cars and includes walkover, fixed and flip-up seating, interior GRP panels and modular interior passenger lighting systems.
2005 XPT Seat Refurbishment for RailCorp
RailCorp's XPT intercity fleet consists of 66 trailer cars and 19 power cars between 11 and 22 years old. The RailCorp order for the redesign and refurbishment of the trailer car seats forms part of a major programme to return the trains to as new condition.
2005 XPT Refurbishment for United Goninan Rail Services
As part of RailCorp's XPT refurbishment program, United Goninan Rail Services, Chullora (formerly Alstom Transport) has placed an order for 77 standard and 9 disabled replacement toilet modules.
