Who is the Water Industry Alliance?
Formed in 1998, the Water Industry Alliance is a not for profit cluster of around 180 water-related organisations focused on growing the South Australian water industry. The Water Industry Alliance aims to increase industry reputation, facilitate networking and collaboration between members and their customers and coordinated international promotion.
South Australia is emerging as a world class, export oriented hub of water technology and services and the Water Industry Alliance exists to grow the South Australian water industry. Collectively our member companies have been very successful, growing annual exports of South Australian water technology products and water management services from $25m to $511m pa. with accumulated exports exceeding $2.9bn.
Nature has demanded innovation in the way we use water, positioning Australia at the forefront of responding to climate change and water scarcity. Water Industry Alliance Members have four areas of competitive strengths when compared nationally and globally.
